  • Best quote EVER from our esteemed President..... "I have personally asked leadership to pass into law, rules that follow the simple principle: you pay for what you spend. So that government acts like any responsible family does. Want a new program? You've got to pay for it. We can't rest until we restore the fiscal discipline that will keep us from leaving our children with a mountain of debt."

Has this guy ever considered going into stand up comedy????

  • Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of...... Carbon Dioxide???? I was reading 5000 Year Leap recently, and I came across some quotes and information that gave me a new and sudden realization concerning the whole "Green" movement and "Global Warming".

In The 5000 Year Leap the author states " Every unconstitutional action has usually been justified because it was "for a good
cause". Every illegal transfer of power from one department to another has been excused as "necessary"". How true that is! And there is no better example than the whole "Green" movement philosophy. How can any one logically argue against it without being considered a "nature hater"? We all NEED nature to survive, so we all MUST be green! Therefore, all of this "green" legislation (ie. Cap and Trade, Carbon Credits etc.) are for a "good reason" and are "necessary" to protect Mother Nature from the ravages of evil man-kind!

So, with that in mind, has it occurred to you that it is rather strange that various governments around the globe absolutely INSIST on continuing with Global Warming / Green initiatives even though their economies are tanking, and they have no money for investing in "Green" technology? It's all about power - we are witnessing the biggest political power grab in recorded history, and yet many of us will never see it as such.
So now you may be asking "But what does all this Global Warming / Green movement stuff have to do with a power grab of historic
proportions?" It's all about property. According to the 5000 Year Leap, "The founding Fathers said we should especially concentrate on the preservation of one particular right because all the other rights are related to it" - and that right is the Right To Property. The right to Property is intrinsically bound to the other basic rights of Life and Liberty. "To give a man his life but deny him his liberty, is to take from him all that makes his life worth living. To give him his liberty but take from him the property which is the fruit and badge of his liberty, is to still leave him a slave.".

A definition of property is: "That which is a result of your labors". So, in that aspect, it could be said that your exhaled breath is your property since it is a product of your labor. Since your breath is primarily composed of carbon dioxide, and since carbon dioxide has been deemed to be a pollutant, that makes your very breath both illegal and potentially under the control of government regulation! Anything under government control either is, or can be, taxed. Is it far fetched to assume that government would have the audacity to
tax your breath? Answer: It already is.

Carbon Credits and Cap And Trade are the vehicles through which your breath is being taxed. When a company fails to meet government standards for "carbon emissions" they have to purchase Carbon Credits to offset the difference. The cost of the carbon credits is passed down to the consumer thus increasing the price of products you purchase. So every time you purchase something produced by a company in violation of carbon emission standards you are paying for the tax levied upon carbon by government.

Global Warming and the "Green" movement are also going to be responsible for global income re-distribution. Consider for a moment the likelihood that most
businesses that can afford carbon credits will be coming from the industrialized "Western" economies, and that carbon credit excesses will be generated by non-industrialized nations. The "rich" western businesses will have to pay for carbon credits, and the credits will be sold by businesses in non-industrialized nations. The net effect will be monstrous income re-distribution on a global scale where money extracted from "more fortunate" western economies and will be given to "less fortunate" non-western economies - and all of this will be brokered via government. Who will be the big winner in this shell game? Who will be the losers? Initially, the "more fortunate" nations will be forced to "sacrifice" their standards of living in order to "save the Earth", the "less fortunate" nations will receive a handout (Did they have to buy the carbon they aren't emitting?), and the government gets to control it all. What happens when things start to equal out? What will happen when the "more fortunate" nations are no longer rich and the "less fortunate" nations are no longer poor? At that point, the focus will have to change - and my guess is that the focus will change from wasteful nations and businesses, to wasteful states and cities - and finally all the way down to the individual level.

Can you imagine living in a world where you are taxed or penalized for every move you make that isn't in conformity with "Green" rules and laws? First they control your fuel (already being done). Then they control what you drive (already being done to some degree. Evil SUV's!). Next they tell you how to heat and cool your home, what temperatures are "acceptable" (Look up "Smart Grid" - it's coming soon to a neighborhood near you), and what type of lighting is acceptable (Can you say Eco-friendly fluorescent light bulbs?) . They then realize that your choice of food can have an impact on carbon emissions - so they start telling you what to eat. (You know - cow farts are BAD for the environment! I am guessing they will completely BAN the consumption of brussel sprouts by humans for the same reason). Eventually, when all other avenues of taxation and control have been exhausted, they may even decide to tax the gases you exhale with each breath - after all - it's mostly carbon dioxide. And finally, as a last insult to each individual, they will tax your body when it dies because it will emit methane and other carbon rich gases as it decomposes. From cradle to grave - we will be controlled by "green", and the great power grab will have fulfilled it purpose: To bring us all to the same level under the loving care of our Socialist government.

But not to worry! It's all for the common good!

  • If Jeff Foxworthy had written the DHS Extremist report......
So this little idea hit me while I was reading through that DHS report concerning "right wing extremists".

What if Jeff Foxworthy had written it? This is how I think it would have gone:

(All of the bits in quotes are directly from the DHS report.)

THE JEFF FOXWORTHY / D.H.S. RIGHT-WING EXTREMIST REPORT
(UNCLASSIFIED / FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY - WELL NOT REALLY IT"S PROPAGANDA)

If you experience "frustration over a perceived lack of government action on illegal immigration", then you just might be a gun and bible toting racist radical right-wing extremist.

If you disagree with the government's "perceived stance on .... immigration and citizenship, " then you just might be a gun and bible toting racist radical right-wing extremist.

If you don't believe that there should be an "expansion of social programs to minorities" then you just might be a gun and bible toting racist radical right-wing extremist.

If you think there could possibly ever be "declarations of martial law, impending civil strife or racial conflict," or a "suspension of the U.S. Constitution", then you just might be a gun and bible toting racist radical right-wing extremist.

If you are a Christian and you believe in "“end times” prophecies" then you just might be a gun and bible toting racist radical right-wing extremist.

If you have ever felt that "illegal immigrants were taking away American jobs through their willingness to work at significantly lower wages", then you just might be a gun and bible toting racist radical right-wing extremist.

If you have ever felt that "recent gun control legislation" is "a threat to" your "right to bear arms" then you just might be a gun and bible toting racist radical right-wing extremist.

If you are worried about "the consequences of a prolonged economic downturn—including real estate foreclosures, unemployment, and an inability to obtain credit" then you just might be a gun and bible toting racist radical right-wing extremist.

If you are concerned about "government infringement on civil liberties" then you just might be a gun and bible toting racist radical right-wing extremist.

If you have opinions about "abortion, inter-racial crimes, and same-sex marriage" then you just might be a gun and bible toting racist radical right-wing extremist.

If you have an opinion that the government does not like, then you will be described as being a gun and bible toting racist radical right-wing extremist, and you will be targeted by that government.

  • ALERT!: Kiss Internet Privacy Goodbye (If Washington gets it's way)
Two new Senate bills introduced by Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D - W.V.) would hand sweeping and unprecedented control of the internet over to government. According to WorldNet Daily, the proposed bills (S. 773 and S. 778) would be known as the Cybersecurity Act of 2009, and would create yet another bureaucratic department - The Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor.

The thing that makes this new legislation particularly scary is that it plans to grant the Secretary of Commerce access to all privately owned information networks deemed to be critical to the nation's infrastructure "without regard to any provision of law, regulation, rule or policy restricting such access." It would also "regulate the cybersecurity industry and even shut down Internet traffic during a declared cyber emergency".

WND has managed to get a copy of a working draft of the legislation that can be viewed here.

You can track the progress of S. 773 and S. 778 via Open Congress here and here.

This is yet another blatant example of how our government is marching this country towards Socialism / Fascism at an unbelievable pace. They must be STOPPED before America is no longer the free country as envisioned and created by the Founding Fathers.

  • Life and Liberty - or - Death and Slavery? The choice is ours.
These days there is a lot of talk from both sides of the fence - some of it is relevant, and some, well not so much - and some of it is mindless and hateful. But one thing is evident - there are A LOT of people who have HAD ENOUGH! Enough of Obama, enough of Bush, enough ALL OF THE CORRUPT OFFICIALS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE COUNTRY that insist upon trampling upon the Constitution as if it were a simple door mat.

Obama is not necessarily the worst, he's just the latest - the latest entry in a long and (not so) distinguished line of so called "leaders" and "representatives" that have lied their way into the seat of power, without any regard to the principles laid out by the Founding Fathers of this great country. Their moral weakness and lack of honor is only out done by their greed and lust for power, and it is evidenced by their complete disregard for the wishes of the governed. Sure - "We The People" elected them, but we have been asleep at the wheel for a long time.

Fortunately for the country though, a growing number of us are being rudely awakened by a "buzz strip" that's along the edge of the road. Everyone who was asleep at the wheel was awakened by the "buzz stip" known as Obama, and we have awoken with just enough time to realize there is a fork in the road ahead. One path leads to Freedom - the other to Slavery. The choice is ours as to which path we choose - but we must choose wisely based on the same principles upon which this country was founded.

This new breed of American has awakened from their slumber and has begun to stir, and many are finding (or perhaps remembering) that the time tested principles of the founding fathers are what will separate the grain from the chaff, and the forces of Life and Liberty from the dark forces of Death and Slavery.

Free Will is not dead, and as long as it is alive, I will choose Life and Liberty by voting for people who uphold, and live by, the PRINCIPLES upon which this great nation was founded - and I will stand firm against those who do not - REGARDLESS of political affiliation!

My only hope, is that all Americans will join me in this effort!
